What Is a Good Humidity Level Inside a House?

If your home feels stuffy and damp even when the AC is running, or if you notice condensation on your windows or a musty smell that just will not go away, humidity is likely the problem. Relative humidity is a measure of how much moisture the air holds compared to how much it could hold at a given temperature. At 100% relative humidity, the air is fully saturated and moisture starts condensing on surfaces. At 0%, the air is completely dry, which brings its own set of problems.
